STEPROLL

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-05

Steproll turns the runs, walks and rides recorded in Apple Health into receipts you can share. This policy explains what the app reads, where it keeps it, and what leaves your iPhone.

What Steproll reads

With your permission, Steproll reads the following from Apple Health (HealthKit). It only reads; it never writes to Health.

Where it is kept

What leaves your iPhone

Route privacy

On the Route Wall and in statements, routes are not drawn near the places where you usually start and finish (on by default; you can turn it off in Me › Data & privacy). A single workout's receipt shows the whole shape of that route, without any map.

Analytics

This version of Steproll does not send usage analytics.

Notifications

Reminders and "your receipt is printed" notifications are created on your iPhone. No notification content is sent to or from a server of ours.

Widgets

Steproll's widgets show your streak, this week's distance and the shape of recent routes. They are drawn on your iPhone from a small copy of that data kept on the device (not in iCloud or backups). Lock Screen widgets show only the streak and the week's distance, never a route; anyone who can see your Lock Screen can see them. Home Screen widgets can also be reached from the Lock Screen (the widgets page), where iOS hides their routes and numbers while the iPhone is locked if you have turned off access to widgets when locked. You can remove any widget at any time.

Children

Steproll is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
